Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Srina ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects and shares personal information and user data when you use our AI portrait emoji generation application, including expression capture, AI editing, text bubble adding and chat export functions.

Srina uses third-party AI processing to generate sticker results. When you request AI generation, photos you capture or select are compressed and sent to OpenRouter for processing, and Srina does not store uploaded photos on our own servers.

2. Types of Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, optimize and secure our services. The data we collect includes:

  • Generated Content Data (on-device): Generated emojis, draft files, text bubble content and user-created materials are saved in the app sandbox on your device. You can delete them in the app.
  • Camera & Portrait Data (Facial Data): Facial images and photos you capture or select are compressed and sent to OpenRouter for AI emoji generation. We explicitly confirm that your facial data is not retained. It is processed in real-time and immediately deleted after the generative result is returned. No personal facial information is stored, archived, or used for training purposes by Srina.
  • Audio Data (Microphone): Audio is used within the app to provide voice-note and style-label features only when you enable and use those features. Audio recordings are stored on-device and can be deleted by you. Srina does not upload microphone recordings to our own servers for storage.
  • Account & Payment Data: If you make in-app purchases, Apple handles payment processing and verification. Srina may receive purchase/subscription status information from Apple, but does not collect your payment card numbers or passwords.
  • Usage Data (on-device): Function usage records, generation history, editing behavior, export/save frequency, feature preferences, and saved work details that are maintained locally within the app.
  • Device & Network Data (received by service providers): When you request AI generation, standard request technical data (for example, IP address and device/OS/network information) is transmitted to and received by OpenRouter as part of processing your request.
  • Advertising/Tracking Data (optional): Srina requests App Tracking Transparency permission. If you do not allow tracking, Srina still works normally.

3. Purposes of Using Your Information

We use collected information only for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Provide core AI services: generate expression stickers, render results in the app, add text bubbles, and support export/save for chat applications.
  • Conduct data statistics and analysis to improve product experience and feature design.
  • Send service notifications and provide customer support (if applicable).
  • Prevent malicious behavior, fraud, abuse and illegal use to ensure application and data security.
  • Process subscriptions and maintain paid function permissions based on Apple StoreKit status.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Processing

Srina uses third-party service providers to assist in delivering functions and services. These third parties may access or process your data solely for the purposes specified in this policy.

  • OpenRouter (AI Processing): When you request AI sticker generation, Srina sends your compressed photo to OpenRouter via HTTPS. OpenRouter and its underlying AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) process the data only to fulfill the specific request. These third parties provide the same or equal protection of user data as Srina, and they do not store or retain facial data after the processing is complete.
  • Apple (App Store / in-app purchases): Apple processes and verifies purchases and subscription status through StoreKit.

Srina does not operate a server to store uploaded photos. Uploaded photos are processed by OpenRouter and results are handled in the app.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure Scenarios

We do NOT sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. We may share data only in the following limited scenarios:

  • To OpenRouter and other authorized service providers who process photos (and related request data) solely to provide the requested AI features.
  • To authorized service providers bound by confidentiality agreements and data protection obligations.
  • When you use export/share functions, generated content may be sent to the app/service you select.
  • To protect the rights, property, safety and legitimate interests of Srina, our users and the public.
  • To comply with legal obligations, government requests, court orders or applicable laws.
  • With your explicit consent or authorization.

6. Data Security & Protection Measures

We implement industry-standard security technologies and management procedures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, modification, leakage or destruction:

  • Data encryption transmission and storage using SSL, AES and other encryption protocols.
  • Access control and identity verification for internal data management.
  • Regular security testing, vulnerability scanning and technical protection upgrades.
  • Local data isolation and local data backup mechanisms.
  • Strict restriction on data access rights to authorized personnel only.

While we take all reasonable security measures, no electronic storage system or transmission method is completely secure.

7. User Rights Regarding Personal Data

You retain full rights over your personal data. Depending on your region, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Access, view and review the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or update of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data, generated content and account information.
  • Withdraw consent to data collection and use at any time (may affect service availability).
  • Request restriction or suspension of specific data processing activities.
  • Export your personal data in a commonly used machine-readable format.

8. Children's Privacy Protection

Srina is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of majority in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without parental or guardian consent, we will immediately delete such information. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us promptly.

9. Policy Update & Amendment Mechanism

We reserve the right to update or revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our services, technologies or legal requirements.

Updated versions will be posted within the application and the effective date will be revised accordingly. Material changes will be notified through in-app pop-ups, banners or push notifications.

Your continued use of Srina after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Special Provisions for Facial Data

Sharing Identity: Face data is shared with OpenRouter and its AI model providers.

Reason for Sharing: To provide users with advanced AI portrait editing and expression generation features.

Storage Practices: Srina and its third-party providers DO NOT store facial data. All facial data is automatically deleted from all systems once the result is generated (retention period is 0).

Purpose of Storage (None): We do not store face data for any length of time because the features only require real-time processing.
